Alstom T&D India gets an order of worth Rs. 161 Crore from Power Grid Corporation.
In Euros that order stands at Euro 20.1 million.
They will supply equipment's for upgrading Transmission substations at 14 sites in North India which are spread across 5 states and reactors at Bhiwani, Haryana.
Substations which to be upgraded under project are:-
1. Hissar
2. Allahabad
3. Kanpur
4. Singrauli
5. Kota
6. Koteshwar
7. Rajpura
8. Panchkula
9. Patiala
10. Dhuri
11. Makhu
12. Mukstar
13. Nakodar
14. Bhiwadi
These are all in Northern India and this expansion will reduce transmission lines overloading and will provide more stability of North India.
This project will include:-
àDesign
àManufacturing
àSupply
àErection
àTesting and commissioning
of Air-insulated equipment etc along with civil works.
Alstom T&D India's will supply equipments to Power grid for the same and these will be manufactured at facilities across India.
The Bhiwani switchyard is centrally connected grid and feeds power to Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
This development will strengthen the Haryana state transmission system and ensures a secure, reliable supply of power across North India.
Alstom T&D India Share closed at Rs 220.80, up Rs 7.50 per share, or 3.52%.
Share touched intraday high of 222.50 Rs/Share and low of 211.35 Rs/Share On NSE.
